Join celebrated artist, Teresa Robinette on a nature walk to find your inspiration
En plein air, or plein air painting, is a phrase borrowed from the French, meaning "open air". It is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors where a painter reproduces the actual visual conditions seen at the time of the painting. The best part, there's no experience necessary to take a walk, pick up a brush, and create a work of art. We'll teach you how! Teresa Robinette, globally celebrated Appalachian artist and art instructor, will get your creative juices flowing as she walks you through getting your sights on canvas. This is a great class for groups of all types.
This full day outing and class includes transportation to and from the location, all supplies/materials to complete your work of art, professional instruction, lunch and refreshments.
Dress appropriately for an outdoor nature walk. Comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes (no flip-flops), and sunscreen are recommended. Bring your camera to capture the day!
This is an all inclusive package excursion and tips are not necessary, but won't be turned away if offered.
Meet up at Mountain View Lodge to be transported to the location. Time depends on the group participating.
